This year, we are celebrating the 125th anniversary of the foundation of Tomsk Practical Technological Institute, legendary TPU.
For 125 years, the community of TPU has made a huge contribution to the development of the world. Among notable alumni of the university are Nikolay Kamov, a Soviet aerospace engineer, Nikolay Nikitin, a designer and constructor of Ostankino tower, Nikolay Urvantsev, a discoverer of Norilsk ore region, Oleg Alimov, a creator of a space drilling machine and Matvei Kapelyushnikov, an inventor of the first turbodrill in the world.
Today, we explore the Arctic, create space materials and develop green energy technologies.
Every person can become a part of the great history and make a contribution to the development of Tomsk Polytechnic University.
